At Callensby Breeding Kennels, we responsibly and ethically breed, raise and sell short-legged smooth-coat Jack Russsel puppies; that uphold and improve upon superior breed standards in terms of health, conformation, temperament & breed purpose to ensure every pup finds the right home.
We found the gene pool in South Africa to be limited, so we have imported a few dogs from Europe over the years, selecting them from highly reputable breeders. Whilst we do not engage in showing of dogs (we are also competitive horse riders, hence time is limited!), the dogs we have imported come from lines that have impressive show results, including World Champions.
We understand that not everyone can make the trip to pick up their puppy — and that’s okay! We offer safe, reliable nationwide delivery so your perfect Saint Bernard can come to you, no matter where you are.
Your puppy’s health is our top priority. All our Saint Bernards are vet-checked, vaccinated, and come with a health guarantee to protect you from common risks like parasites or genetic issues.
Our puppies are raised in a caring home environment — never in crowded kennels. This early socialization helps them grow into calm, confident, and affectionate companions who adjust easily to family life.
We take in distraught and abandoned animals and bring them back to good health before finding their forever home.
We get involved in local communities and educate people about pet care, hand out free food and carry out sterilizations.
We assist with the of sterilization of pets and educate the community of the importance of spaying and neutering their pets.
We nurse the animals back to health, sterilize them and try and place them in suitable, loving homes
Olivia is just an absolute blessing to us! She is absolutely gorgeous with the sweetest personality. She is wonderful with little children, very easy to train, and happiest when she is receiving lots of hugs and kisses!!
Our house was filled with an overflowing love and excitement the day Tanka and Ponyo joined our family! They are the most beautiful dogs inside and out.
Ponyo, our little girl and beauty, is a social butterfly! She never misses a thing! She is very playful and active. She also has a sensitive side as we noticed she plays more calmly with our youngest daughter of 3. She would lay calmly on her lap, just enjoying the company and cuddles.
