There are only two requirements to be considered for our waiting list: Acceptance of the price and submission of the completed questionnaire (sent upon request).
Once both requirements are met, you will be added to our waiting list. Applicants who show genuine effort during the application process will be given preference. On average, the waiting period for a Wolwehoff puppy is between one and two years.
When puppies are born, we will contact individuals on the waiting list. A puppy of your preferred gender will only be reserved once the Wolwehoff contract has been signed and the non-refundable deposit has been paid.
Puppies can be viewed from 6 to 8 weeks of age when personalities become evident. We are happy to provide guidance on which puppy may best suit your family dynamics.
Puppies can be collected from 8 weeks of age, after the final payment has been made. Please remember to bring a secure crate for your puppy to travel safely in the car.If you are located far away, we will help arrange a flight for your puppy. We will handle all the necessary administration, but transportation costs will be at your own expense.
MICROCHIP
All puppies will be microchipped. Owners are responsible for registering the microchip in their own name after collecting the puppy.
VACCINATION
Puppies will have received their first set of vaccinations. A recommended vaccination schedule will be provided to the new owners.
DEWORMING
Puppies will have received their first deworming. A recommended deworming schedule will also be shared with the owners.
REGISTRATION
All puppies will be registered with KUSA (Kennel Union of Southern Africa), and a registration certificate will be issued. Wolwehoff puppies are sold as non-breeding pets, with the following KUSA restriction: “Progeny not eligible for registration.”
We recently stopped offering viewings of our adult dogs before puppy allocations are made. Unfortunately, our schedules are very busy, and hosting families every week has proven to be too time-consuming.We do our best to keep our social media updated so you can follow our activities and see our adult dogs in action. Once puppies are born and you have been allocated a puppy, viewings will be arranged when the pups are between 6 and 8 weeks of age.
